Whether your INFINITI engine is stock or built for performance, it has many parts, all with jobs vital to how well that car or SUV you love runs. Take intake valves, for instance. They regulate the engine's ratio of air to fuel. Pistons pressurize that mix, spark plugs ignite it, causing combustion, and exhaust valves regulate the fumes that result. The oil sump or oil pan, however, stores engine oil, which is used to lubricate it all.
