Belts & Hoses: Essential Engine Reliability for Your INFINITI
Your INFINITI depends on precision-engineered belts and hoses to maintain smooth operation, and Modern INFINITI of Winston-Salem provides genuine OEM replacements designed for long-term reliability. Belts drive essential engine accessories, while hoses circulate coolant and fluids required for temperature control. Together, these components ensure your vehicle performs efficiently under all driving conditions. Your INFINITI relies on these systems to maintain consistent performance and protection.
How Belts and Hoses Function
Serpentine belts transfer power from the engine crankshaft to components such as alternators, compressors, and power steering systems. Timing belts (on equipped engines) ensure precise synchronization between engine internals. Radiator and heater hoses transport coolant between the engine, radiator, and heating system to regulate temperature. These systems work alongside the engine to support performance and efficiency.
Why Belts and Hoses Wear Out
Heat cycling causes rubber materials to dry out, crack, and lose elasticity over time. Exposure to oil or coolant can weaken structural integrity and cause swelling. Continuous engine tension gradually stretches belts and reduces efficiency. Internal hose layers may deteriorate due to long-term pressure and temperature fluctuations.
Signs of Belt or Hose Failure
Squealing or chirping noises during startup or acceleration often indicate worn belts. Cracks, glazing, or fraying suggest belts are nearing failure. Bulging, soft spots, or visible leaks point to deteriorating hoses. Genuine INFINITI belts and hoses are engineered for factory fitment, durability, and dependable long-term performance.
Modern INFINITI of Winston-Salem provides OEM parts designed to help keep your vehicle running at peak condition.
