OEM INFINITI QX60 Entertainment Systems

Genuine INFINITI QX60 Rear Entertainment Parts

Rear seat entertainment is the system parents notice the moment it stops working, usually somewhere on a long drive. The QX60 setup lives inside the front seat backs, which is why the parts on this page are a mix of screens, headrests, seat back assemblies and the wiring that ties them together.

Headrest DVD Kits

The main kits, parts 999U8-CW300 in beige leather and 999U8-CW200 in black, are complete headrest units with the screen already built in rather than a screen you mount to an existing headrest. That is the right way to do it on this vehicle: the factory kit matches the leather, the stitching and the headrest shape, so the interior still looks like it came that way. Order the color that matches your seats, since the two kits are otherwise identical.

The Remote Is Its Own Part

Remotes disappear. Part 28298-1MA0A is the replacement, and it is worth knowing that it fits the JX35, the QX56 and the QX60, so a remote from any of those generations is the same part. If the screens power on but nothing responds, replace the remote before you start diagnosing the system.

When the Screen Is Not the Problem

This page also carries infotainment display control modules, power seat wiring harnesses and complete seat back assemblies. That combination tells you where these systems actually fail. The screen itself is durable; what gives out is the harness running through the seat back, which flexes every time the seat is adjusted, and the control module. If one screen works and the other does not, the harness on the dead side is the first place to look.

Before Ordering

Rear entertainment was an option, not standard equipment, and the specific configuration varies by model year and trim. Add your vehicle or enter your VIN so the catalog shows the parts for your build, and confirm your interior color before ordering a headrest unit, because a beige kit in a black interior is not a fix, it is a second problem.

Check Compatibility Before You Buy Discs or Devices

The factory system in these years is built around DVD playback and the inputs INFINITI provided at the time, not around streaming from a phone. That is worth knowing before a repair, because some owners discover mid-project that what they actually want is a different system rather than a working version of this one. If the goal is keeping kids occupied on a trip and the screens still power up, a replacement remote and a working harness may be all the repair you need. And if you are buying a headrest kit for a vehicle that never had the option, confirm that the wiring is actually present behind the seat before ordering. On a QX60 built without rear entertainment, the screens are only half the project: the harness and the power feed have to be there too, and that turns an afternoon into a job worth quoting first.
