Genuine INFINITI G35 Struts

2003 to 2007 coupe and sedan

E6110-AM614 is a right side strut listed for the 2003 to 2007 G35 with sport suspension, stamped 56110-AM614 on the original. The upper mount for those years is 54320-AL50A, listed for the coupe and for the sedan with rear wheel or all wheel drive. To replace the whole corner, E6C00-AM61KNW is a complete right side assembly with spring and mount for the coupe.

2007 and later cars

The 2007 changeover shows up in the notes. E6C01-JK01KNW is a complete left side assembly listed for rear wheel drive cars with and without the sport package, and E6C01-JK50KNW is the left side assembly for AWD sedans, with notes for the G25, G35 and G37. E6C00-JK01KNW is a right side complete assembly listed for 2007 to 2015.

Mounts, bumpers and bolts

Strut mount 54320-1EA0B is listed for 2007 to 2017 and fits the G35, G37, G25, EX35, EX37, Q40 and Q60. Strut bumpers such as 54050-JK01A, strut bolts such as 56127-EG00B, nuts and bellows are here too. A torn bellows or a flattened bumper lets the strut bottom out, so replace them along with the strut. A new mount also cures many of the clunks people blame on the strut itself.

Bare strut or complete assembly

A bare strut reuses your spring and mount, which means compressing the spring. A complete assembly bolts in as one piece and renews a tired spring and mount in the same job. Front shock absorber kit E6110-JK01C is listed for 2007 to 2015 as well. If the car sits low on one corner or the spring is rusted, the complete assembly is usually the better choice.

Signs of worn struts

Bouncing after bumps, a nose that dives under braking, clunks over potholes, uneven tire wear or oil on the strut body all point to worn struts. Replace them in pairs on the same axle and have the alignment checked afterward to protect your tires and keep the steering straight.
